Main Activities: The person will be responsible for the order handling of key account orders as well as managing orders from other sales personnel.

  • Management of key account orders. Including but not limited to:
    • Processing orders
    • Providing feedback to key account buyers
    • Providing forecasts for key accounts
  • Develop and implement an order management system that provides structure and automation to the companies order process system
  • Provide order tracking and fulfilment as well as reporting on order management.
  • Manage and drive relationships with key account buyers and the regional sales teams.
  • Working together with purchasing to provide accurate requirements and feedback on upcoming projects.
  • Working together with the credit control department to manage credit limits and overdue accounts.

 

Qualifications:

Experience:

  • Previous internal sales or order handling experience
  • Previous Sage Pastel experience

Required skills:

  • Attention to detail
  • Good analytical skills
  • Proficient MS Excel user
  • MS office and Google Suite experience
  • Power query experience a bonus
  • Self-motivated and driven candidate required

General: The position is an internal position and as such normal office hours apply.

A market related remuneration package based on qualifications/experience will be offered and includes a company provident fund.

A good proficiency in the use of the Microsoft Office or equivalent is essential.

The position exists at the Carel Midrand office, and a driver’s license and own transport is required.
